Welcome to the private guest house at Reedy Mill Pond, a peaceful oasis that offers an escape from everyday life. Our guest house is situated on the banks of a stunning 45-acre lake, established in 1812 and is exclusively used for electric motor catch & release fishing. Kayaks, private pickle ball court & paddle boat for guests! Fish from the dock where you may catch a variety of sport fish such as northern pike, crappie & sunfish. Recently, a record setting 11.4lb largemouth bass was caught.

Located close to King's Dominion and Meadows Event Park. Our guest house is a comfortable and inviting retreat, perfect for couples or small groups. It features a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious outdoor access. We offer complimentary kayaks, paddle boat and stand up paddle boards for our guests. For sports enthusiasts, we have a range of facilities including an indoor and outdoor pickle ball/tennis court, basketball court, and a professional beach volleyball sand court. You can rent our bass boat during your stay for $200/day, gas included. If you prefer to explore the surrounding area, the Mattaponi River flows through the property and offers a perfect spot for kayaking, canoeing, or fishing. Spectacular grounds and activities! We all enjoyed the pickleball courts and water views, I loved walking the wooded trails and around the lake with our dogs. A rustic house that fits the area perfectly and all the comforts of home! We have family in the area and this is the first year we decided not to stay with them so the location and amenities were everything that we needed for a quick break. The kids enjoyed the snacks after a long drive, my husband and I enjoyed lounging on the comfortable couches after being on the road. Access was easy and well lit. Perfect layout of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. We had pretty busy schedules and would have loved more downtime to take advantage of everything this property has to offer. Hosts were attentive before, during and after although we had no issues! Everything was clean and functional. Can’t wait to come back during the warmer seasons!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this terrific setting. The house was spacious and well appointed, and the outdoor spaces were exceptionally serene and private. We especially enjoyed our moments on the deck along the pond. The hosts were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to questions and requests.
